Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to VB Leather Overseas. We offer this website, including all information, tools, products, and export services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies, and notices stated here.

By visiting our site, submitting an inquiry, or placing a wholesale/OEM/export order with us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Service”, “Terms”), including additional terms referenced herein or available by hyperlink. These Terms apply to all users of the site, including browsers, global buyers, vendors, merchants, and content contributors.

1. General Conditions & Eligibility

The User certifies that they are at least 18 years of age or possess legal corporate authority to represent their business entity in international trade transactions.
While we strive to accommodate every buyer, VB Leather Overseas reserves the right to decline inquiries or orders that do not align with our production capacity, trade policies or quality standards.
Content on this site (excluding payment/credit card details) may be transferred unencrypted over various networks to facilitate global communication.

2. B2B Commercial Inquiries & Pricing

Currency & Trade Quotations: Unless stated otherwise in a formal Proforma Invoice (PI) or Quotation, default website prices or currency references are in Indian Rupees (INR) or US Dollars (USD) as per international trade norms.
Price Variations: Export pricing differs from domestic pricing due to international freight, custom duties, country-specific compliances (BIS, ISO, etc.), and currency exchange rates. Prices are subject to change without prior notice.
Order Commitment: Submitting an official Purchase Order (PO) or confirming an export quotation obligates the buyer to complete the transaction under the agreed Commercial Invoice and Payment Terms (e.g., L/C, Advance T/T).

3. Shipping, Global Freight & Delivery

Freight & Incoterms: Shipping costs, transit insurance, and delivery schedules are calculated based on shipment weight, volume (CBM), destination port, and agreed Incoterms (FOB, CIF, EXW, DDP).
Delivery Timelines: Production and dispatch timelines commence upon receipt of the agreed advance payment or confirmed Letter of Credit (L/C). VB Leather Overseas shall not be held liable for shipment delays caused by customs clearance holds, force majeure events, natural disasters, shipping line disruptions, or acts of God.
Buyer Information Accuracy: The buyer must provide authentic consignee details, tax identification, and delivery addresses. Re-routing or re-delivery costs arising from inaccurate buyer details will be charged to the buyer.

4. Quality Assurance, Hosted Inspection & Returns

Hosted Buyer Inspection: To ensure complete transparency, international buyers are invited to visit our headquarters in Kanpur and stay as our guest at Videep Bhawan to inspect finished production batches in person prior to final export dispatch.
Damage in Transit & Claims: Any physical transit damage or discrepancy must be notified via email within 48 hours of receiving the shipment at the destination port/warehouse, accompanied by official inspection photos and videos.
OEM / Private Label Returns: Custom-manufactured, logo-embossed, or bespoke buyer-specific products cannot be returned or canceled once production has commenced unless a manufacturing defect is verified by an independent third-party auditor.
Hardware & Repairs: Functional components (buckles, studs, zippers, safety caps) damaged due to improper handling after delivery do not qualify as manufacturing defects. Replacement hardware or repair arrangements will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis, with transit costs borne by the buyer.

5. Natural Leather Characteristics & Variations

As a dedicated exporter of full grain, top grain, and genuine leather, we take pride in authentic materials sourced through LWG Gold-Rated and certified partner tanneries. Buyers must acknowledge the following natural material properties:

Natural Grain & Marks: Leather is a natural product. Scratches, subtle tone variations, natural hide marks, and patina development over time are intrinsic characteristics of genuine leather and do not qualify as defects or rejection criteria.
Color & Display Variations: Color reproduction on digital screens may vary slightly from actual physical hides due to monitor calibration and natural dye absorption across different tanning batches.
Custom Finishes & Printing: Hairline aging, natural leather flexing, or slight tone differences on digitally printed or vegetable-tanned leather are standard material properties.

6. Intellectual Property & Custom Branding

Buyer IP Protection: Any custom tech packs, logo designs, embossing dies, or private label artwork provided by the buyer remain the strict intellectual property of the buyer and will be protected under confidentiality.
Website Copyright: All content, imagery, product descriptions, and structural layouts on this website are the property of VB Leather Overseas. Unauthorized reproduction, scraping, or distribution is prohibited under applicable copyright laws.

7. Revisions & Updates

We reserve the right to update, amend, or replace any part of these Website Conditions and Terms of Service by posting updates on our website.
